One Hub. Stronger Connections. A More Resilient Western North Carolina.
The wncHelp App is a new digital infrastructure for Western North Carolina, built to tackle food insecurity and mental health support by making local help easier to find and easier to share. It’s a central hub where nonprofits, neighbors in need, volunteers, and funders can see each other, support each other, and show up together when it matters most.
If you believe our region deserves better coordination, clearer communication, and kinder access to services, your voice is essential in shaping what comes next. Add your organization’s name to this emerging coalition and help design the tools our community needs to thrive.

Introducing wncHelp

Ashley Tee -YMCA WNC Executive Director of Community Health
The wncHelp App is a collaborative, easy to use digital platform for neighbors facing food insecurity and mental health challenges in Western North Carolina, the nonprofits providing services, community members looking to help, and funders looking to provide support.
The app reduces duplication of services and wasted resources, strengthens partnerships, and provides actionable data for funders.
This is a collaboration and your feedback is vital. We are in the process of collecting feedback and would love to hear from you! Let us know if you'd like to schedule a Zoom to share your ideas and see a demo. Or, if you're ready, you can do that below at the "submit endorsement letter" link.
Together we can build a stronger, smarter, more connected Western North Carolina
Thank you!,

Bounty & Soul:
"There has been no real-time efficient way to understand the service overlaps and gaps of food security organizations...The app would provide this real time, ready understanding of food resources in the region."
